Join us for Reiki Level 1 May 20-21, 2023! Class will be held at Bryn Mawr Reiki Center from 10am to 6pm both days. We will learn the story of Reiki, practice giving and receiving Reiki to ourselves and others, and learn how a variety of uses for Reiki - pets, plants, food, and more!

What can you expect in a Level 1 Reiki Class in the Usui Shiki Ryoho System?

Level 1 is a Foundational 16-hour class in our Tradition, the Usui Shiki Ryoho System of Natural Healing. Students receive four Reiki initiations, sometimes called attunements, which increases their life-long access to Reiki. We structure the class so that students receive parts of the Reiki story, time to practice Reiki and time to discuss experiences in the class.

What will you receive in this Reiki Level 1 class?

  • Four Reiki initiations and a Level 1 certificate in the Usui Shiki Ryoho Tradition

  • Learn how to give a Reiki treatment to yourself and others

  • Learn to feel and sense energy with your hands

  • Learn more about the physical body and how emotions and thoughts create dis-ease
