Our mission is to honor and continue our lineage of Hawayo Takata in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition as we serve our community. We provide Reiki treatments for all ages and teach in person Reiki classes for children and adults.

Rei·ki (pronounced rākē/): An ancient Japanese hands-on energy technique discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of our lineage, that activates the body's own natural healing, providing balance for one's mind, body and spirit.
The word comes from two Japanese words - “Rei,” meaning “universal,”, and “Ki,” meaning “life force energy.” Reiki can be loosely translated as “universal life-force energy.” This universal life-force energy exists in and around all of us.

From those looking for simple relaxation to expecting mothers, and still others with physical pain, chronic illness or even those recuperating from major surgeries, Reiki can support you. We treat both adults and children, with a special Children Under 13 Reiki Treatment designed for our youngest clients.

Reiki is a hands-on energy practice that can bring more balance, peace and wholeness to you. It is a gentle, non-invasive treatment for the whole body and is suitable for all ages. Each one of us has a life-force energy within us, it’s what keeps us alive- and this energy can become naturally depleted with stress, age, lifestyle, etc. A Reiki treatment provides a boost for your life-force energy - like recharging the batteries or refilling the gas tank. Whether you are seeking clarity and peace of mind or have a specific wellness goal, Reiki can help you refresh the body, calm the mind and restore the spirit.

Stephanie Grasso is the founder of Bryn Mawr Reiki Center and Reiki Master Instructor. She offers treatments and classes on the Mainline.
